Important Images!
These images are important. They symbolize ideas that will define the 21st Century. And I love ‘em!

This is the symbol of the Transient Movement. It is a reminder, that “all people are scum. No matter what they look like.” (Transmetropolitan #4, by Warren Ellis and Darick Robertson. Published 1997, by Vertigo/DC Comics.)

This is Tux, the “official” symbol of the Linux operating system. For those who don’t know, Linux is a Free operating system, which has none of the restrictions that crapware like Windows comes with, and is infinitely better than Microsoft’s rubbish. Install Linux on your PC. You have nothing to lose but your chains. You have a world to win.

This is the maple leaf, national symbol of brave Canada! Hehe!! Sorry, just a little joke. This is, of course, the cannabis leaf. Marijuana and hashish are psychoactive substances, used for many thousands of years, but made illegal in the early 20th century thanks to Anslinger and the USA. The mood in Europe is moving toward legalisation (it’s been decriminalized in Holland for years), but the demon weed is still hated the the US government - and most of the world is in thrall to the USA. Grrr!! @America!!

This image (known as glider.png for some reason) is the symbol of hackers - that is, the self-proclaimed “real hackers”. I’ll tell you all about the “hacker vs cracker vs script kiddie” row some other time.

This is the flag of anarchism (actually anarchosyndicalism, but the distinction is lost on most anti-anarchists). Winston Churchill once said that democracy is the least bad system of government - Winston Churchill always full of shit.

Copyleft: the use of the copyright laws to put information where it rightly belongs - in the public domain. “Information wants to be free” was a motto of the Youth International Party - and is a creed with hackers. How can anyone claim to own knowledge?

Huh? What the hell is this? Where did it come from… and what does it mean?
I shall investigate immediately. We’ll soon have the culprits run to ground. Tell you what though, the guy looks kind of familiar…
